Day 3 - Motueka to Marahau & Anchorage Bay

    Turns out I was only 20 minutes away from Marahau, which is the entrance to Abel Tasman National Park.

    I hiked into Anchorage Bay (about 3 hour hike) and back.  My intention was to proceed another 2 hours to Bark Bay and stay at the hut but everyone told me that the Bark Bay Hut didn't have any treated drinking water.   So I ended up turning back & hiked another 3 hours back to Marahau.

    It was worth every minute.
