Cook Islands

It was quite the adventure getting to Cook Islands.
We did not realize that we would cross the International Date Line between New Zealand and Cook Islands and so we showed up to Rarotonga a day early.

We left New Zealand on a Tuesday night and arrived in Rarotonga on Monday night.  So we did Tuesday twice - once in New Zealand and once in Rarotonga.

Fortunately the hotel let us check in early, even though we didn't have reservations until Tuesday night.

I rented a bicycle to ride around and explore the island.  Rarotonga is only 32km round so it's a relatively small place.  We also snorkelled lots as there was a reef right off our beach.
